4th of July PICK-UP STICKS Game!

http://everydayteaching.com/Holiday/Independence/PickUpSticks.pdf
Here's a unique idea for 4th of July fun! Students (or you, your family, guests....) will paint simple skewers with red, blue, and white designs. Then paint or roll tissue paper around a paper towel roll for your holder. Two small pieces of patterned red fabric are secured with a rubber band at each end. Have fun!

Make your own 4th of July banners!

Print, cut along red and white lines up to blue star border (leave blue star border to hang it with), and hang up for 4th of July fun and celebrations - these banners also look great on bicycles, wagons, and parade floats! (Click on the link below, not the image, for full-size printable.)
