"Budget cuts"; it's an all too common theme these past few years, and little is changing with teachers receiving pink slips, classes being cut, numbers dwindling, and now, Kansas City closing half its city schools. How is your school district faring during the shrinking budget era?

It's a huge change of heart for education advocate and campaigner Diane Ravitch, once a major voice for standardized testing. Today she admits those strategies compromised the health and welfare of public education, eroding school reform. NCLB is up for reform in Washington; what's your view?
